Oil refining assets in Germany

Rosneft is the third largest oil refining company in the German market with a total crude oil refining capacity of up to 12.8 million tons per year, which is more than 12% of Germany's capacity. The operations are carried out by Rosneft Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of Rosneft, managing oil refining in its share at three plants in which it has equity participation:

  • The PCK Raffinerie GmbH Refinery is located in Schwedt, Brandenburg. The location of the refinery makes it possible to supply Urals crude through the Druzhba pipeline. The capacity of the refinery is 11.6 million tons per year (Rosneft's share in the capacity is 6.3 million tons per year), the Nelson complexity index is 9.8. Shareholders: Rosneft - 54.17%, Shell - 37.5%, Eni - 8.33%;
  • MiRO GmbH & Co. Refinery KG is located in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg. The plant is the largest oil refinery in Germany and one of the most modern and powerful plants in Europe. Capacity - 14.9 million tons per year (Rosneft's share in capacity is 3.6 million tons per year), the Nelson complexity index is 9.4. Shareholders: Rosneft – 24%, Shell – 32,25%, ExxonMobil  – 25%, Phillips 66  – 18,75%;
  • BAYERNOIL Raffineriegesellschaft mbH Refinery is located in Neustadt an der Donau. The plant supplies fuel to Bavaria and northern Austria. The capacity of the BAYERNOIL Refinery is 10.3 million tons per year (Rosneft's share in the capacity is 2.9 million tons per year), the Nelson complexity index is 7.4. Shareholders: Rosneft – 28.57%, Varo Energy – 51.43%, Eni – 20%, BP – 10%.
